A Local Creation Storey. (part one)

No.3
In the beginning there were only the winds, the East, the West, the North and South Winds.
For many years they blew all the moisture in the air to the same place to form the sea. All the dust in the air they blew into another place to form the land.
After many years the winds moved away, leaving behind them 30 children. These are the white wind turbines in the sea and they manage the surrounding sea and lands. The 30 children formed the birds from winds left behind by their parents, and used the birds to survey the lands their parents had made. The birds knew the sea, the cliffs, the fields, and the forests as they flew over the area. The Bleen Forests, wild flowers and the grasses grew from seeds mixed up with dust that formed the lands.

Shortly, two pieces of land separated from the mainland and became islands. These islands were in fact giant oysters. One island was the King Oyster. The other island was the Queen Oyster. The king oyster was grumpy and miserable, always complained of being hot and itchy. One day he violently spat out a pearl which flew high into the sky and became the sun. The Queen was surprised when she also spat out a pearl which became the moon. These giant oysters have now become the Isle of Thanet and the Isle of Sheppy.
The small bits of the land that broke off and rolled back into the sea formed normal sized oysters and other smallish stones transformed into fish when touching the water.
In due course these Oysters formed pearls, and spat them out onto the land. The pearls then transformed into the first people and lived in a community by the sea, which became Whitstable.
